Do Not Be Anxious About Anything


Hey ladies,


I hope your week is going well, and I hope this newsletter encourages and motivates you to keep pushing.


If you are like me, then I know that you have or are currently experiencing some stressful times. Whether it is school, work, family, or friends, it can be overwhelming to manage everything you have been tasked to do. That is why I love this scripture because it gives me the remedy for whenever I begin to feel anxious.


The full scripture says, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God’ (Philippians 4:6, NIV). It is great to know that I can cast all my cares, concerns, worries on Him and know that everything will work out.


Next time you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, here are some suggestions that can help.


1. Make a To-Do list with their respective due dates. This will allow you to prioritize what is most important.

2. Take it one step/task/day at a time. Focus on today and what needs to be accomplished for today. If you break down your To-Do list into manageable pieces, then it will be less overwhelming.

3. Set aside some time to relax, regroup, and refocus. Sometimes you just need a day to treat yourself. Go get ice cream, treat yourself to lunch, or get your nails done.
