The Industrious Women's Network at KSU

Genevieve Ahey is a driven first-generation scholar and senior pursuing a degree in Management, with a strong passion for leadership, personal growth, and creating meaningful impact in the business world. She currently serves her second consecutive year as President of the Industrious Women’s Network (IWN) at KSU, where she works to create an empowering and supportive community that encourages women to connect, grow, and lead with confidence.

Through her academic, professional, and leadership experiences, Genevieve continues to pursue opportunities that challenge her, broaden her perspective, and allow her to make a meaningful impact. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring new experiences that contribute to her personal growth.

Princess is a third year biology student on the pre-med route at Kennesaw State University. She wants to be a future anesthesiologist, learning how medicine can be used to keep patients safe and comfortable. Princess has a passion for science with patient care, critical thinking, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She is still learning herself in her walk with Christ and is currently the Partnership and Fundraising Committee Chair of IWN at KSU, helping establish valuable relationships with businesses/ people and raising money through fundraisers. She loves being a hairstylist, dressing up, and hangout with friends in her spare time.

Bianca is a junior and Biology major in the Honors College at Kennesaw State University with a passion for helping others and aspirations of working in the medical field. She currently serves as Vice President of IWN at KSU and loves being part of a sisterhood that encourages women to grow, build confidence, and become the best versions of themselves. As a follower of Christ, Bianca values her faith and is always looking for ways to grow closer to God and pour into others. She loves that IWN at KSU combines faith, sisterhood, etiquette, leadership, and personal growth in a fun and uplifting environment. When she’s not studying, Bianca loves cooking, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, and simply enjoying life! She’s excited to make new memories, build genuine connections, and continue growing alongside the amazing women of IWN at KSU.

De’Rayah Herrin is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, attending Kennesaw State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Counseling Psychology. She has a deep conviction for ministry and caring for the well being of others. De’Rayah aspires to be a faith-based mental health and family therapist, with a vision to bridge the gap between mental health care and spiritual formation. De’Rayah is honored to serve on the executive board of IWN and looks forward to making a meaningful impact, cultivating genuine connections, and encouraging her peers to stay grounded in the one true faith.

Amara Shaw, a sophomore and Finance major at Kennesaw State University, is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. She is focused on strengthening her financial literacy, communication, leadership, and money management skills through meaningful hands-on experiences. As the Treasurer of IWN at KSU, Amara is developing practical experience in budgeting, financial management, teamwork, and organizational leadership while preparing for a successful career in finance.
