Industrious Mentoring Program

The final series was called, "A Touch of Class" where we taught professional and formal dining etiquette. Special thanks to Barbara A. Price, CEO of the Christian Business Women's Network International Inc for coming and teachinig an etiquette course as part of the Refinement Academy. The ladies culminated the semester with a special Afternoon High Tea at Swan Coach House in Atlanta.

Spring 2026

"Let's Jump Into Action!" We started the semester strong with a team project. We shared the mission and vision of IWN and challenged the ladies to own it by jumping into a committee meant to advance IWN. We separated into 3 committees: marketing, fundraising, and volunteer. The ladies presented their initiative in a friendly competition with the winners being tasked with actually launching their initiative in the next school semester.

Lastly, we culminated the semester with our Soul Series called Get Understanding. A representative from Truist volunteered to provide financial literacy courses relating to budgeting, crediting, future planning, and home ownership. Finally, we hosted a banquet where friends and family came together to celebrate the ladies and their accomplishments. Special thanks to City BBQ and Chick-fil-A for donating our meal. Thank you to Kendra Scott for partnering with us to sell commissioned jewlery as part of our end of the year fundraiser.

Fall 2025

We started the semester off with our Body Series called Glow Up where we uncovered the hidden skills and talents within each lady describing them as being diamonds in the rough that must be dug up and refined. We culminated the series by taking professional headshots demonstrating that beauty transfers from the inside out. Lastly, we took an outing to The Battery to enjoy lunch and fellowship.
