Spring semester has started, and I hope you are finding your routine on how you are going to knock out this semester. I wanted to pass along a few tips that helped me successfully take on a new semester.
1. Start strong and plan early! Spring semester has less distractions than fall and summer semesters, so start strong. Get a clear understanding of your syllabus and plan out how you are going to knock out these assignments.
2. Learn your professor. Whether it is your first or senior year, success in college is knowing exactly what the professors are looking for and giving them exactly that. Use these first assignments to get a feel for what your professor grades on and care about the most.
3. Be encouraged! I know it is tough to get back into the swing of things, and you might start to question why you are pursuing this degree. Just know that your life has purpose. You can do this! The sacrifice now will pay off leaps and bounds in the future. Trust me, I know!
